pics of kitchen project..,

Here's some pics of my kitchen as I go along. The cabinets & walls were dark brown, ugh! I used white paint & pale pink and white striped wallpaper, then painted roses layered in pinks burgundy & gold. I made 20 of the polyclay handles! It does look much better in person, & I'll post pics when I'm about done.

Ok, so I fell down on the job! I'm really going to try to do better!!!
I took time off from sewing for a bit. Guess what I did? I have been painting my LR & Kitchen white. Then I painted my cabinets & made polymer clay rose handles for the cabinets. I still need to finish painting so I can put the knobs on. I made 20 handles! I'll try to get a pic put on tommorrow.
I love working with polymer clay & have made buttons & doodads for outfits.

I did get a set finished that I started & put aside while I was being lazy. I'll get some pics of it too.

I've been sewing some things for my grandaughter Kyra(almost 2).

I finally updated my scrapbooking blog too! WOW, all in 1 day!Bye till tommorrow, hopefully!

I'm making the leap!

I recently started looking at blogs, interesting things, almost passed me by!

I finally got up the nerve to start....just don't know quite where!

I'd like to share some of the things I do.

I've been sewing for over 40 years (has it been so long?)

I was in 5th grade when my mom sat down with me at her sewing machine & taught me. I am so glad she did, then I learned much much more along the way.

(I've tried teaching my daughter, who is now 20 yo, but that's not her forte'!)

1. BOUTIQUE children's clothing & accessories


2. POLYMER CLAY buttons. dangles, ....ect


3. DECOUPAGE on clothing


4. HAND-PAINT clothing, shoes, whatever strikes me!


5. DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING is my latest addiction!I also doodle with digital art.
